Lions

Lions, like the majestic star who growls at the beginning of MGM movies, don’t spend all their time in Hollywood. And they can do much more than roar when they wish to speak. Among other sounds, lions can meow!

I’m assured the mail lions have no need of hairdressers to maintain their hairdoos.

When lions stalk their prey, their tails straighten horizontally. In addition to their sharp teeth, they have substantial claws. Even if you are in a hurry, you might want to give a lion the right away.

As might be suspected of a cat, lions can sleep 20 hours a day.

Lions are endangered, mostly due to the erosion of their natural habitats. Sadly, since March of 2018, the USA no longer bans the importation of lion trophies (hunted and killed lions).
