The COVID Pandemic of 2020-2021 brought a halt to much outdoor and social activity in my area for many months. Gyms closed. Municipalities limited us to no more than one hour of outdoor activity per person.
If you are like me, you are now dealing with the fallout. Muscle strength disappears so quickly. Pandemic pounds…It is time to exercise.
Start your exercise regimen well ahead of time so you can better enjoy your trip. It may help to:
- Calendar exercise time;
- Plan group activities around exercise;
- Challenge yourself or Compete with a friend;
- Put your sports gear where you can see it; and/or
- Do exercise that you enjoy.
To reap the full benefits of exercise, don’t forget to stretch!
In addition to exercise…It may be prudent to purchase plane tickets now for 2022 travel. There is talk of a jet fuel charge coming in 3-4 months due to the gas supplies being stymied by the Russian war in Ukraine.
And if you are heading to Europe, it is a good time to exchange U.S. dollars for Euros in advance; the current exchange rate is nothing short of phenomenal.
